Clean up of Lookout Rocks

The Plettenberg is involved with the Bitou Municipality in cleaning up the Lookout Rocks. This includes working towards having this area declared a Nature Reserve.

The Lookout Rocks

When the Keurbooms River in flooded massive trees and other debris were washed up onto the Lookout Rocks. Huge amounts of wood have been lying there ever since.

The Plettenberg covered the costs associated with the removal of this debris from the Lookout Rocks. This wood was then delivered to the local community. It has served as firewood and it has been a blessing to so many underprivileged people throughout the winter months!
